British Gas Business – Leicester
Two hundred friends and family!
On Friday 14th March Spinneyside opened its doors not only to our people but almost 200 friends and family who all worked together to take customer donations in aid of Sport Relief 2008. Thanks to the wonderful volunteers they managed to take donations worth just under £102k, with the highest individual donation being £1,000.
There was plenty of food and drink flowing on the night and everyone had a great time enjoying the face painters and the enthusiastic encouragement of the compere for the night, Mr Geoff Childs. Over 100 prizes were given out on the night to lucky individuals and we are still counting the cash to see how much was raised.
All in all it was a fantastic event and we are already looking forward to next time.
